Biography

After High School, it was time for Collage; I started at Rocky Mountain Collage of Art & Design, but unfortunately could not finish. While I lived in Denver, I worked for an art agent setting up portfolios, and working on their website. I then moved into framing work, learning all kinds of cool stuff and eventually getting my Design Certificate, and Framing Certificate. Later, I got offered to do some illustration work for a children’s book. I moved to Tulsa with my girlfriend after she was offered a great school program. I now live in Tulsa Oklahoma, enjoying my time while I’m here. I still do plenty of Art, and plan to do it forever.

After I got into Tulsa, it was time to get a job. I have worked at a photography studio, helping with setups, and doing touch-ups on portraits. I also helped a man get his tattoo shop set up. We painted, did the floors, and even hired all the artists. After the shop opened, I maintained the shop, and even did plenty of custom work myself! I was also given the awesome task to do all their graphics. I did their logo, yellowbook and American Classifieds ads, and also got to do t-shirts, and other cool projects. I now work with animals, but plan one day to work for a graphic design firm, or studio doing what I do best.

My favorite place

Colorado is a great place to grow up. It doesn’t only teach you the importance of nature, but the people are great to work with.  I made many friends, and have a great family who are there for me always. I’m truly blessed. From a young age, all I wanted to do was draw. I was very creative, and unfortunately that affected my schoolwork. I was never great at algebra, but good at physics. I was terrible at World History, but good at Economics.  I found things that I enjoyed and got “good” grades with them. School was a blast though; I had loads of friends, and plenty of good times. I especially loved Graphic class in high school. It was a new thing for me. This was back when Photoshop was still new. I loved it at first click and drag. My first assignment involved me morphing my friends face.
My great family, my wonderful Nana not pictured

A little after my breakthrough with Graphics, I started to work with Photography. Although I could never develop my film correctly, I always got a good shot… I made it work. After high school, I got myself a 12x Sony Cybershot digital camera.  This was great because I could never see my pictures due to my terrible mixing skills.  Now, I could just load them onto my computer! This started a great hobby. I now take plenty of pictures, and try and use them to help with earth conservation.  I believe the world is about to change dramatically, and photography may help with this. The people that got me involved with this were Thomas Mangelson, and the photographers of National Geographic.
